Kenyatta Nobles

In my own words

I'm a transformational HR executive, strategist, and culture architect, known for building people-first systems that help mission-driven organizations thrive. My journey began long before my career. Born prematurely in Philadelphia at just three pounds, I spent my first month in the hospital — a "miracle baby" whose early fight for life shaped a lifelong commitment to purpose, resilience, and service.

Today, I help organizations move from reactive people management to intentional, scalable workforce strategy. My work sits at the intersection of talent, operations, and leadership — where I've led initiatives that strengthen hiring pipelines, improve retention, and align organizational structure with growth goals.

I earned my Bachelor of Business Administration from Temple University, double-majoring in Human Resources Administration and Risk Management & Insurance, where I also served as Treasurer of the student government. I later completed my MBA in Human Resource Management and earned the SHRM-SCP certification — one of the field's highest credentials.

Across the public, nonprofit, and healthcare sectors, I've built a career leading HR strategy for complex, multi-state organizations — guiding workforces of up to 1,700 employees through growth, transformation, and operational modernization. I'm recognized for designing systems that strengthen culture, elevate leadership, and align people strategy with organizational mission.

Through every chapter — from early adversity to executive leadership — I've stayed grounded in one belief: strong organizations start with strong people, and culture becomes a competitive advantage when leaders design experiences rather than just enforce compliance.

Beyond my executive work, I also lead a boutique consulting practice helping mission-driven organizations modernize their HR — Criterion HR Solutions.

From the Ground Up

The Journey Behind the Leadership

01

Purpose & Resilience

Born to Serve

I was born prematurely in Philadelphia at just three pounds and spent my first month in the hospital — a miracle baby whose early fight for life shaped a lifelong commitment to purpose, resilience, and service. That early adversity became the foundation of my drive to build systems that work for people, not just around them.

02

Early Leadership

Leading Before the Title

Leadership emerged long before any formal role. At nine, I was delivering Little Debbie cakes. As a teenager, I launched a T-shirt business. In high school, I became the inaugural student vice president on the Philadelphia School Board — representing thousands of students and igniting a lifelong passion for fairness, equity, and systems built for people.

03

Executive HR Expertise

Built for the Boardroom

I earned my BBA from Temple University, double-majoring in HR Administration and Risk Management & Insurance, later completing my MBA and earning the SHRM-SCP certification — one of the field's highest credentials. I've guided workforces of up to 1,700 employees through growth, transformation, and modernization across the healthcare, nonprofit, and public sectors.

The Work Today

A Practitioner, Still Building

Today I bring a practical, execution-focused approach to every engagement — translating strategy into systems that work. From hiring pipelines to retention to organizational design, I help leaders build cultures where people and performance rise together, and where culture is treated as a true competitive advantage.
