The Story Behind the Strategy
Purpose & Resilience
Born prematurely in Philadelphia at just three pounds, Kenyatta spent his first month in the hospital—a miracle baby whose early fight for life shaped a lifelong commitment to purpose, resilience, and service. That early adversity became the foundation of an unshakable drive to build systems that work for people, not just around them.
Early Leadership
Leadership emerged long before any formal role. At nine, he was delivering Little Debbie cakes. As a teenager, he launched a T-shirt business. In high school, he became the inaugural student vice president on the Philadelphia School Board—representing thousands of students and igniting a lifelong passion for fairness, equity, and systems built for people.
Executive HR Expertise
Kenyatta earned his BBA from Temple University, double-majoring in HR Administration and Risk Management & Insurance, later completing his MBA and earning the SHRM-SCP certification—one of the field's highest credentials. He has guided workforces of up to 1,700 employees through growth, transformation, and modernization across healthcare, nonprofit, and public sectors.
